Departing our Lakefront Helipad, you’ll fly over the geological marvel that is Mt Titiroa. From a distance, the mountain looks as though it is snow-capped. In fact it has magnificent, huge white granite formations and small hidden lakes that can only be seen from the air. Arriving at Teal Bay at the southern end of Lake Hauroko, you’ll meet your jet boat for the start of your exhilarating ride down the untamed Wairaurahiri River.

On arrival the remote Waitutu Lodge you will enjoy a fabulous bush style BBQ lunch including locally sourced venison. After lunch the helicopter will return you to Te Anau with two further landings along the way.
